This was really happening. Of course they talked about it and he knew this day was coming, but for it to be real enough for him to see it was something else entirely. Peter stood with his hands in his pockets unsure of what he should be doing with himself.

The struggling artist came up to him with tears streaming down her face. She grasped his hands in hers, squeezing tightly. Though she was too overwhelmed for words he could tell that her tears were the grateful kind. He offered her a comforting smile and patted her hand.
